What is the difference between uPVC and aluminium sliding doors?
uPVC is warmer, cost-effective and low maintenance, 70mm system, up to 4m wide. Aluminium is slimmer with 35mm interlock, stronger, lift-and-slide, up to 6m wide and lasts 45+ years. Both are A-rated, PAS24 secure.
Do your sliding doors stick or jam over time?
No. We use stainless steel rollers and lift-and-slide gear rated for 200kg+ per panel. One-finger glide, never swells, sticks or rattles like old timber or cheap systems.
Are sliding patio doors secure?
Yes. 5-point hook locks, anti-lift blocks, interlock bolt and toughened 28mm glass as standard. Secured by Design / PAS24 certified. Much more secure than old sliding doors.
Can you replace my old French or sliding doors with new sliding doors?
Yes, daily across London & South East. We remove old French, sliding or bifolds and fit new 2,3,4-panel sliding doors in the same opening. Usually 1 day install.
What colours and sizes do you offer?
White as standard, plus 20+ colours. Anthracite Grey, Black, dual colour (grey outside/white inside). 2, 3 or 4 panels, up to 6m wide, 2.4m high.
What glass do you use?
28mm toughened double glazing, Argon filled, warm-edge, U≤1.2 A-rated as standard. Triple glazing, laminated acoustic and solar control available.
Do you offer a low threshold?
Yes, 15mm low threshold option DDA compliant, wheelchair/pushchair friendly, creates seamless kitchen-to-garden level floor.
How long does installation take?
Most sliding doors fitted in 1 day. Survey to install is 2-3 weeks, UK made to measure. Includes removal of old doors and full making good.

Do sliding doors open both ways?
