What is a Tilt & Turn Window?
A tilt & turn window is Europe’s most versatile window system, defined by its dual-function operation. Instead of only opening outward, the sash tilts inwards from the top for secure, draught-free ventilation, and swings fully inwards from the side for maximum airflow, easy cleaning and emergency egress.
Unlike a standard casement that only opens outward, the tilt & turn’s inward opening uses a multi-point locking mechanism and compression seal. When closed, the sash presses tightly into the frame, creating a superior airtight, weathertight and acoustic seal – making it one of the most secure, energy-efficient and practical options for modern British homes.
We offer tilt & turn windows in uPVC and aluminium, with configurations including tilt-only, turn-only, tilt & turn + fixed combos, and tilt & turn in bay & bow windows. All are A-rated, PAS 24 secure and made-to-measure.
